About Clay PAL

The Police Athletic League of Clay County, Inc. ("Clay PAL") is a youth activities program operated by members of the Clay County Sheriff's Office and by dozens of volunteers.  We are a Florida Not-for-Profit Corporation, and rely on fundraising efforts of our volunteers and families, as well as support from our local community to continue providing programs to the youth of Clay County.

Here are the program’s major goals:

  • Preventing juvenile crime and drug use
  • Providing positive role models for youth
  • Developing discipline, self esteem and positive moral values through wholesome competition
  • Improving communication and relationships between law enforcement officers and the youth of our community

Why do kids need the Police Athletic League?

Many youth in our community grow up with no positive contact with law enforcement officers. This lack of positive contact breeds distrust and fear. PAL provides positive role models for our youth and a drug free atmosphere for youth to play and learn.

Clay PAL Programs:

  • Baseball/Softball
  • Tackle Football
  • Cheer
  • Flag Football
  • Summer Basketball
  • Sheriff's Office Explorers
